About Dr. Rene
Licensed Psychologist in MA + PSYPACT states
I support high-achieving teens and young adults navigating anxiety, perfectionism, OCD-related patterns, and executive functioning challenges.
Many of my clients are thoughtful, driven, and capable — but feel stuck in cycles of overthinking, reassurance-seeking, burnout, or self-criticism that keep them from feeling grounded or confident.
My goal is to help you build clarity, emotional flexibility, and sustainable habits so you can move through life and transitions — school, relationships, independence, career decisions — with more steadiness and self-trust.
Who I work with
High-achieving teens and college students
Young adults navigating school, work, and identity transitions
Individuals managing anxiety, intrusive thoughts, and reassurance cycles
Perfectionists who feel “never good enough”
Students balancing high expectations with emotional well-being
Teens and young adults struggling with organization, procrastination, and executive functioning challenges
If you’re moving between home and school, adjusting to independence, or balancing multiple roles, we’ll create a supportive space that moves with you.
My approach
I use evidence-based strategies paired with honest, down-to-earth conversations to help you you understand how your patterns work — not just how they feel.
My style is warm and practical. I show up authentically and collaboratively — helping you feel supported, understood, and empowered to make meaningful change.
Together, we build tools that support real progress so you can:
quiet intrusive thoughts
reduce reassurance cycles
loosen perfectionism
strengthen emotional resilience
build habits that actually last

A bit about me
I grew up in Massachusetts and moved to Washington state in 2022. I currently live on the Olympic Peninsula.
My own experience as a collegiate athlete navigating injuries, completing a competitive doctoral program, and growing up in a family impacted by OCD and divorce has shaped my understanding of pressure, uncertainty, and resilience.
Outside of work, I enjoy time with my partner, family, and friends, walking my dog Norman, exploring the Pacific Northwest, reading (psychological thrillers — no surprise there), and following sports (Go Celtics!).
